Exactly. When I critized him on twitter for this article, his response was that he made his 'homework' on the issue (which he clearly did not). It is sad and dangerous when otherwise trusted science communicators suddenly go far outside their expertise to produce a duce of an article, and worse, once they hit backlash, do not retract it or at least make some justifications. Worst of all, he writes a pure opinion piece, attacking a straw-man hypothesis (or conspiracy for that matter) and then makes far wider claims about the matter under the guise of 'factual science'. Despicable. If he does not issue a correction soon, I seriously question his integrity.
